I gotta move her (Cookie) inside. Barney is whuppin’ on her too much. It’s what males do – fight. He’s not too tough. Can’t fight off the other males that well.
But he does beat up on Cookie. It’s not just a bullying thing. I’ve seen other males beat up female cats. They just fight – it’s what they do, but not always. Sometimes he’s friendly to her.
