saw the orange moon
as I dozed in bed at dawn …
found her dead, later

so poignant and sad. it seems to be a very personal and pained poem. thank you for sharing.
Thanks, glittering… It is, or was… I’m not over the trauma of yesterday and really the last few days. I had little Pearley the cat for many years, and it was not easy losing her.
Anyway, I just visited your blog. Chaotic Soul template really suits your poetry, I think. I’ll visit again when I have some more time. I’m about to be late for work, and that would not be good at all.
no, being late for work would not be good at all! :)
i know what its like to love a pet you love dearly, but you just have to hold onto the fact that they had the best life they could have and that all good things must come to an end ;)
thanks for visiting by the way =))
You’re right, glittering… She had a good life, and a long one for an outdoor cat, about ten years. I miss her, but I still have the two others, Barney and Cookie.
Yes, I enjoyed your blog. I hope to visit again today – didn’t get to see too much this morning. I have to open the computer lab every morning, and I was 5 minutes late. That’s not good at all :( 7:45 is early! But I get to see a sunrise many days, and that’s a good thing.
