I finally quit procrastinating, bought a Samsung printer and got busy. So, all the haiku on this here blog have been outprinted. :) That makes me smile a little bit. All 2193 haiku! They are in raw form, and sitting in manila folders right now. But that’s ok. I will hopefully put them in a safe deposit box next week.
This post may be only important to me, really. I know I worked many hours on the haiku. Reading through some as they printed out, I can see how I learned and grew so much, since last summer when I really started writing them.
Well, now I still have my three other haiku blogs to print out, too. But… added together, they are still barely half as much as Existential Pause. And the Pause is still growing, though not as fast. I decided it needed to continue. It has backlinks, and Google pagerank… I don’t like to stop working on websites or blogs, once they have an actual web presence, you know?

Congratulations, Robert, on getting your haiku outprinted. As president of the Southwest Wisconsin Procrastinators’ Club, I salute that accomplishment! I found your blogs by following breadcrumb trails and am happy I did. I love them and hope to frolic further when I have more time. Aloha! Michelle
Hello, Michelle! Welcome to my blog! I’m glad to formally meet the president of your club – it sounds like a club I could be a be a proud member of… someday… haha
I am about to visit your blog, too, as soon as I up my coffee caffeine levels to normal on this nice Sunday morning.
I hope to see you around these parts again! You will find that not all the haiku are “happy go lucky” though. SOme are rather dark side. I call them “lowku” actually. I decided at the start to only include a minimum of censoring of my material. But I don’t think it will be too bothersome, actually.
My ex-wife, a brilliant writer in her own right, had a great idea with those, which I hope to accomplish some day. She said I should try to get a book published with haiku and lowku. Have the book arranged in a sort of yin-yang fashion with the haiku opening on one side of the book and the lowku opening on the other.
We’ll see how that goes, ultimately. Now I’m through rambling. It’s one of my procrastination tools! :)
LOL! I love the yin-yang idea for the haiku and lowku book! Of course, it’s only natural that you would write both — they are like Duct Tape, which is like the Force: it has a light side and a dark side, and they hold the Universe together.
We would be happy to welcome you to our club. However, please be advised that we do not conduct any meetings, nor do we charge dues, because we’ve never gotten the proper Round Tuits! So, if you’d like to add “Proud Member of the Southwest Wisconsin Procrastinators’ Club” to your resume, feel free — no one will ever check to see if your name is on our rolls…umm…I’m sure you understand why.
Have a Zippity-do-dah start to the last week of February. M
I used to have a proper Round Tuit! My California friend gave it to me when I visited him way back many years ago. I have long since lost it, though. haha Oh well…
